Al-Anon and Alateen in the Shoals
(Lauderdale, Colbert, Franklin, and Lawrence Counties):
Al-Anon and Alateen are separate, independently operated 12-Step organizations that are not facilitated in any way by Alcoholics Anonymous. However, Al-Anon and Alateen both have incredibly beneficial purposes related to alcoholism: to help families of alcoholics.
